We are looking for an experienced Social Media Coordinator to join our team! This newly-created position would be responsible for planning and executing highly engaging content and will plan, organize, and post across all of the Erin Gates Design / Elements of Style / Gates & Co. social media platforms.
This is a part time role with the opportunity to become full time, and any candidate would need to be in our Wellesley, MA office at least 2 days a week. We are not reviewing/accepting 100% remote positions at this time.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and execute social media marketing campaigns by executing a social media strategy, creating content, editing content, scheduling posts, and tracking results.
Assist in managing all Erin Gates Design / Elements of Style / Gates & Co. social media accounts by responding to comments and questions, monitoring engagement, and moderating content.
Create and schedule social media and blog content including writing social copy, creating graphics, capturing content, and scheduling posts that are brand aligned.
Help to manage brand affiliate partnerships, including fielding opportunities and negotiating terms + deliverables. Coordinate with local photographers for photo shoots in support of brand sponsored content.
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and make recommendations on strategy adjustments to stay in line with these trends.
This position would report to the Director of Marketing & Partnerships and the Founder/Principal, Erin Gates.
Qualification & Experience:
2-3+ years of experience in social media marketing, with examples of past strategies + results
A love of interiors and fashion a plus, but not required
Demonstrated experience with WordPress, LTK/RewardStyle and other affiliate programs, Canva and/or Photoshop, Instagram, TikTok, FloDesk (or other email marketing platform)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must exhibit expertise and interest in photography & videography and demonstrate proficiency in Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, etc.
Strong writing and editorial skills, and ability to understand the brand voice and aesthetics
Familiarity with Shopify
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of tasks – this position is truly what you make it and we’re looking for a self-starter with lots of ideas and the ability to take them on
